You can get up to £500 towards the installation to a maximum of 75% of the cost.
Today we installed a Rolec chargepoint with 32A rotary isolator in garage.
On this installation the distributors earth was on a TNCS (sharing neutral and earth), therefore added an earth rod to ensure the earth was maintained during charging on an external chargepoint.
This was a company vehicle where the customer asked for an IP rated outside socket, not realising he was entitled to a fast charge point under the Government grant scheme regulated by OLEV.
